Lawn Mowing Service

We mow and line trim your lawn, edge the perimeters of your paved surfaces such as sidewalks and driveways, and blow away any grass clippings from paved surfaces. Additionally, we adjust the cutting height to between 3.25 to 4.5 inches based on factors such as growth rate, soil moisture and seasonal conditions.

The price for services can vary depending on several factors unique to each property, such as the size of the lawn, length of pavement, width of fences, and terrain. Properties with challenging terrain and narrow fence gates may require more time, which can result in higher costs. Additionally, we have a minimum service fee of $45.00 for mowing services.

Additional one-time fees may apply for the first service if the lawn has not been maintained for several weeks while the grass is actively growing. These include the Long Grass Fee or Pavement Edge Recovery.

The Long Grass Fee applies if the grass is longer than 6 inches, as it increases service time. The fee is added to the base price of the mowing service. For example, if the grass is 8 inches long and the regular price of the mowing service is $45, the one-time long grass fee of 50% would increase the first service price to $67.50.

Fees for Long Grass:

• 6-9 inches: 50% more
• 9-12 inches: 100% more
• Over 12 inches: Quotation required, service will not be performed.

Pavement Edge Recovery: If the grass has grown over pavement edges by more than 1 inch, it requires cutting back with a shovel or removing sod to recover the pavement edges. This can be done for an additional fee, for which a quotation would be provided.

We do not bag grass clippings as it’s not beneficial for the lawn, except for when there are disease problems. Mulching clippings is more environmentally friendly by adding nitrogen to the soil and reducing landfill waste.

We do not offer one-time or bi-weekly mowing services because grass typically grows too vigorously in this area to cut every 2-weeks.

We provide lawn mowing services within a 20-minute radius of 1420 Bristol Pike, Morrisville, PA 19067. However, we can expand the service area for commercial properties or residential properties larger than 1 acre.

Our services will start around the second week of April and end in late November. We aim to provide service approximately every 7 days, however, service intervals may extend to every other week or longer during periods of slow growth or droughts if the grass does not need to be cut. Also, service intervals may be affected by inclement weather, weather forecasts, and unforeseen circumstances. While we strive to provide service every 7 days, we cannot guarantee that service will occur at exact 7-day intervals and some fluctuations will occur. Additionally, we cannot provide a specific day of the week (e.g. Thursday) service.

In addition to lawn mowing, we also offer various other landscaping and lawn services such as leaf removal and bed weed control. These services are provided as separate services. We are happy to provide a quote for any service you require.

We invoice monthly for our mowing services, and the invoices are due on receipt. However, if the grass is excessively long, we may require pre-payment. We accept credit cards, ACH, and checks. Checks can be mailed to: Red Oak Landscaping, 1420 Bristol Pike, Unit C, Morrisville, PA 19067.

Please note that prices listed above do not include sale tax. Mowing services in Pennsylvania and New Jersey are subject to sales tax.
